Pumpkin Workshops

Autumn is in the air, and what better way to celebrate the season than with pumpkin decorating? Clapham Flowers is delighted to invite children (and young-at-heart adults) to join our Pumpkin Workshops this October, where you can have fun, get creative, and take home your own beautifully decorated pumpkin.

Workshop Dates & Details

  • 11th October from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm — Mini Pumpkin Workshop for £20

  • 23rd October from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm — Second session, also £20

Each session runs for two hours. We will guide participants step by step in decorating their pumpkins with seasonal florals, foliage, and creative touches. All materials (pumpkin, florals, pins, greenery) are provided. Kids should come ready to roll up their sleeves and have fun.

What to Expect

During the workshop, we will teach:

  • How to prepare and hollow a small pumpkin safely

  • How to select flowers and foliage that last

  • Techniques for securing blooms and decorative accents

  • Tips for maintaining your design at home

We create a relaxed, friendly environment where creativity is encouraged—no experience necessary. The goal is for each child to leave proud, holding their own unique floral pumpkin creation.

Tips Before You Arrive

  • Dress for a little mess—some bits of foliage or pumpkin dust may cling

  • Bring a small bag or box to transport your finished pumpkin

  • Be punctual: each session starts promptly at 1:00 pm or 3:00 pm

  • Parents are welcome to stay and watch or assist
